The Farmhouse Patch Blanket was designed for us by Blogstar Cherry Heart. It’s an interesting combination of different sized granny squares that show off the colours in Batik DK yarn really well.

Batik is a wool and acrylic yarn with a lovely round twist to it. The colour effect is a painted semi-solid look that gives beautifully subtle tonal hues when knitted up. The original palette was influenced by the rich and opulent colours of Morocco but the range has expanded to include more subtle shades too.

You will need: 3.5mm Hook, 4mm Hook, Yarn needle, Cushion pad 45 x 45, Stitch markers.
